In the latest rankings released by Pulse Asia's nationwide survey, Senator Vicente "Tito" Sotto III ushered as the no.1 senatorial candidate in the upcoming 2016 elections.

The survey was commissioned by Abs-Cbn, and the Pulse Asia poll was estimated with approximately 1,200 respondents nationwide and was held from November 8 to November 15, 2015 which lasted about a week. On December 15, Abs-Cbn News Online reported yesterday that Senator Sotto acquired roughly about 72.6% of votes, which is enough to propel him into the no. 1 spot.

Although there wasn't any acknowledgement of Tito Sotto's popularity in GMA's Eat Bulaga!, certainly it can be said that one of the key factors in Senator Sotto's ratings was the famous hit Kalye-Serye series on Eat Bulaga where he is one of the co-hosts, which apparently helped skyrocket the votes in his favor on the senatorial preference poll.

Not only is he the front runner on Pulse Asia's nationwide survey, but Senator Tito Sotto managed to firmly grasp the the top spot in Pulse Asia's September poll amassing a total of 63.6% of votes.
