'Beauty and the Bestie' Will Not Air in The Middle East. Take A Look!
With that being said, it is one of the most recognizable box office hits of MMFF 2015 films. The story revolves around a policeman needing the help of his former best friend to mimic and impersonate a foreign dignitary's daughter in a beauty pageant competition. The movie quickly rose up the charts, thanks to the star-studded casts of Vice Ganda, Coco Martin, James Reid, Nadine Lustre and many more.
The movie enjoyed quite a success as it is still constantly ranking as one of the most watched movies, helping to push the gross earnings for films in the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival to officially reach the P1 billion mark as of 6th January, Wednesday. With Vice Ganda's steady dose of hilarious humor coupled with the comical antics of other casts, the movie surely was a fun treat to watch for people during the Christmas break holidays.
But despite the huge success of the film, Beauty and the Bestie will unfortunately not be shown in the Middle East for quite a few reasons. Here are some of them.
Many were left disappointed that they didn't get an opportunity to watch the movie, especially the fans of the film. While many people have raved about the movie as a whole, unfortunately the success of the Beauty and the Bestie won't make it to the Middle East. Movie reviewers felt that the movie focused too much on Vice Ganda's own brand of humor and comedy, in which they emphasized it as one of its hidden downfalls.
All in all, it was a hugely successful film that many people had fun watching. It's just unfortunate for the fans in the Middle East that they won't get an opportunity to watch the Beauty and the Bestie in all its comical and humorous glory.
