A truly sorrowful moment for the Abarico family. Former Pinoy Big Brother 'PBB' housemate Marnill Abarico, known as "Kigoy", passed away last week due to cardiac arrest. He passed away in his hometown in Leyte on Tuesday, and was peacefully laid to rest at only 36 years old.

Kigoy was a part of the fourth season of Pinoy Big Brother and made a name for himself. Set to find out his siblings, he joined the "Unlimited" edition of PBB in order to do just that.

Dubbed as the "Bay Diskarte of Ormoc", Kigoy faced challenges in life with wit and determination, one that he will be remembered for in the eyes of many. Raised by a single mother, Abarico faced trials and tribulations early in life, in which has molded him to become the person that he is until he passed away.

He has six siblings, and sadly, his family was unable to attend his funeral, as revealed by his uncle Generoso Abarico in an interview with Abs-Cbn on Tuesday. His uncle said that Kigoy has long been separated from his wife and three kids, which was one of the reasons they could not attend the funeral. Kigoy's brother, Ian Toliyao, was struck with grief and sadness after discovering the news that his brother passed away, and broke down into tears during his brother's funeral.

Despite the challenges Kigoy faced head-on, he remained strong and resilient. And that will be one of the things he will be remembered for the most. Coupled with his robust charm and tough attitude, he won the hearts of many as he is peacefully laid to rest.
Condolences are extended to the Abarico family for the passing of Marnill "Kigoy" Abarico and may everyone who was struck with grief and sadness find the strength and power to overcome these difficult times.
