Aspiring Presidential Candidate's Son Gets Bashed on Social Media for Flaunting Expensive Shoes!

What caught the eyes and attention of many netizens appears to be a hot topic and debate in the world of social media. Aspiring presidential candidate Senator Grace Poe's son was spotted wearing an expensive shoe that gave way for criticism and bashing by many people. The shoe was nowhere near ordinary, as it was a Limited Edition Nike Mag 10 Back to the Future II Marty McFly which costs quite a hefty price tag, at about roughly $20,000.

Photos have circulated online in which her son was seen wearing the expensive shoe. The photo drew mixed reactions from netizens, especially to fashion-conscious people that couldn't find any reason to justify the ridiculous price tag for a pair of shoes.

When converted to Philippine peso, the shoes are estimated to be around P839,000, obviously way too luxurious for a basketball shoe. This caused netizens to speak up about the expensive purchase and criticized Poe for flaunting money and luxury.

The controversial remarks also made its way to Senator Grace Poe, and she has a few words of her own to say about the revolving issue. She gave a statement that her son is also working hard as a neophyte on one of the TV stations in the country to be able to finance his own needs and spend his money on things that he desires. Kung naaalala n'yo, ang aking anak e nagtatrabaho rin. Kaya lang kinailangan n'yang-mag leave dahil nga kailangan ma-maintain ng network na 'yun 'yung objectivity. She also stated that she taught her sons the essence and value of money so they would be able to finance their needs. However, this wasn't enough to convince the local people as they kept lashing out and bashing Poe which led to the making of the phrase 'Magastos Poe'.

A student has been the focal point of social media anger and fury after a video surfaced online of him wiping the classroom floor with the Philippine flag. The video has been featured on Facebook page Pinoy Online Watchers, and from there it took off and raised social networking debate and fury. Many netizens found the student's acts to be a direct insult and disrespect to the entire Philippines, especially the Filipinos who express their strong patriotism for their country.

The post has already amassed a thousand likes and shares, drawing mixed reactions from many people. Many have felt that the student should be punished for his inconsiderate behavior and be expelled from the school. Some even went beyond further than that, stating that he should go to prison for not showing enough dignity, honor and respect for the three stars and the sun.

The school and its teachers have also been receiving heavy criticism as of late, with many netizens saying that the school failed to properly lecture and teach their student the value and importance of the flag as a representation, symbol, and emblem of the Philippines. Others chimed in with their opinions on how high their regard and respect is for the flag of the Philippines, and were plainly disappointed and angered at the same time when they saw the viral video. Miss Colombia Expresses Her Thoughts After Mistakenly Being Crowned The Winner. Check It Out!

In one of the most shocking plot twists seen in recent memory, the Miss Universe 2015 pageant will certainly go down as one of the most memorable. But not as most people would have thought.

The world was watching with their eyes centered on host Steve Harvey as he steps up to announce the winner of the prestigious contest. For a brief moment, heartbeats raced fast as everyone held their breaths with excitement and anticipation.

The winner was Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo, and the crowd erupted with cheers as Miss Colombia was crowned and congratulated by the whole world. Paolo Valenciano Reveals His Brother Gab Receiving Death Threats For Expressing His Opinion. Check It Out!

After being involved in a social media controversy in expressing his thoughts and sentiments, 27-year old Gabriel Valenciano has been the focal point of anger and hatred by many people.

The anti-Duterte remarks Gab posted on his Facebook account left a bad taste in the mouths of many, especially the supporters of Mayor Duterte. This caused a massive social media rampage that escalated to the point that he's received death threats, according to his brother Paolo Valenciano.

It appears that the tension between Gab and the netizens haven't dissipated in the past few days, but has rather intensified after the actor responded to the offensive remarks of people who deem his post as brash and ill-mannered. Since then, he's come under fire and has taken a lot of heat from netizens.

His brother Paolo took to Twitter to express his sentiments in regards to the death threats Gab is receiving lately, and here is what he has to say.

He stated that he likes Davao and has a very good history with the city. He even said that he would consider Davao as one his top 3 provinces, but was very surprised after some Davaoeños said inapproprate statements.

He also said that he likes Duterte. Although the mayor of Davao city isn't his first bet for president, he'd rather pick Duterte than the rest of the aspiring candidates. He just wants Duterte's fellow supporters to show more respect towards his brother Gab who has a different opinion and perspective.

Responding towards a certain subject the mind disagrees with respect and acceptance will not only dispel anger and hatred, but will give way to peace and tranquility. And while everyone's outlook in life may be different, having an open mind will bring us closer together and unite us, and in the end, our differences will fade in the shadows.

Ultimately, when it comes to varying degrees of opinions and perspectives, it all comes down to respecting each person's diverge outlook in life, Each person is unique, and the challenge of life is to accept and understand people's opinions without contention, destructive argument and debate.
