Aspiring Presidential Candidate's Son Gets Bashed on Social Media for Flaunting Expensive Shoes!

What caught the eyes and attention of many netizens appears to be a hot topic and debate in the world of social media. Aspiring presidential candidate Senator Grace Poe's son was spotted wearing an expensive shoe that gave way for criticism and bashing by many people. The shoe was nowhere near ordinary, as it was a Limited Edition Nike Mag 10 Back to the Future II Marty McFly which costs quite a hefty price tag, at about roughly $20,000.

Photos have circulated online in which her son was seen wearing the expensive shoe. The photo drew mixed reactions from netizens, especially to fashion-conscious people that couldn't find any reason to justify the ridiculous price tag for a pair of shoes.

When converted to Philippine peso, the shoes are estimated to be around P839,000, obviously way too luxurious for a basketball shoe. This caused netizens to speak up about the expensive purchase and criticized Poe for flaunting money and luxury.

The controversial remarks also made its way to Senator Grace Poe, and she has a few words of her own to say about the revolving issue. She gave a statement that her son is also working hard as a neophyte on one of the TV stations in the country to be able to finance his own needs and spend his money on things that he desires. She also stated that she taught her sons the essence and value of money so they would be able to finance their needs. However, this wasn't enough to convince the local people as they kept lashing out and bashing Poe which led to the making of the phrase 'Magastos Poe'.

Going their separate ways back and forth, everything was a whirlwind of emotions for Charles. And certainly, he's doing the best he can to weather the storm. If there was only one thing he wants back more than anything else, it's to be with his ex-girlfriend together again for one last time.

Crushed with the thought that his ex-girlfriend is now open for a new love, Charles expresses his desire for one last chance. Only time will tell if ever the strings of fate are willing to connect and entwine again. But for now, Charles is holding on to that last ember of hope. Love is one of the best feelings a human could ever feel. Cherish every moment you spend with your loved one. Because in a blink of an eye, things could suddenly change. Never take love for granted, and appreciate it more than anything else. Because in the end, losing the one you love the most is harder than trying to find it.

A student has been the focal point of social media anger and fury after a video surfaced online of him wiping the classroom floor with the Philippine flag. The video has been featured on Facebook page Pinoy Online Watchers, and from there it took off and raised social networking debate and fury. Many netizens found the student's acts to be a direct insult and disrespect to the entire Philippines, especially the Filipinos who express their strong patriotism for their country.

The post has already amassed a thousand likes and shares, drawing mixed reactions from many people. Many have felt that the student should be punished for his inconsiderate behavior and be expelled from the school. Some even went beyond further than that, stating that he should go to prison for not showing enough dignity, honor and respect for the three stars and the sun.

The school and its teachers have also been receiving heavy criticism as of late, with many netizens saying that the school failed to properly lecture and teach their student the value and importance of the flag as a representation, symbol, and emblem of the Philippines. Others chimed in with their opinions on how high their regard and respect is for the flag of the Philippines, and were plainly disappointed and angered at the same time when they saw the viral video. BREAKING: Former 'PBB' Housemate Passes Away Due to Cardiac Arrest. Take a Look!

A truly sorrowful moment for the Abarico family. Former Pinoy Big Brother 'PBB' housemate Marnill Abarico, known as "Kigoy", passed away last week due to cardiac arrest. He passed away in his hometown in Leyte on Tuesday, and was peacefully laid to rest at only 36 years old.

Kigoy was a part of the fourth season of Pinoy Big Brother and made a name for himself. Set to find out his siblings, he joined the "Unlimited" edition of PBB in order to do just that.

Dubbed as the "Bay Diskarte of Ormoc", Kigoy faced challenges in life with wit and determination, one that he will be remembered for in the eyes of many. Raised by a single mother, Abarico faced trials and tribulations early in life, in which has molded him to become the person that he is until he passed away.

He has six siblings, and sadly, his family was unable to attend his funeral, as revealed by his uncle Generoso Abarico in an interview with Abs-Cbn on Tuesday. His uncle said that Kigoy has long been separated from his wife and three kids, which was one of the reasons they could not attend the funeral. Kigoy's brother, Ian Toliyao, was struck with grief and sadness after discovering the news that his brother passed away, and broke down into tears during his brother's funeral.

Despite the challenges Kigoy faced head-on, he remained strong and resilient. And that will be one of the things he will be remembered for the most. Coupled with his robust charm and tough attitude, he won the hearts of many as he is peacefully laid to rest.

Condolences are extended to the Abarico family for the passing of Marnill "Kigoy" Abarico and may everyone who was struck with grief and sadness find the strength and power to overcome these difficult times.

'Beauty and the Bestie' Will Not Air in The Middle East. Take A Look!

The 2015 Filipino action comedy film Beauty and the Bestie produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films was a great hit during last year's Christmas holidays. The movie was released on the 25th of December, and since then the film took off and is among one of the most-watched movies as of late.

With that being said, it is one of the most recognizable box office hits of MMFF 2015 films. The story revolves around a policeman needing the help of his former best friend to mimic and impersonate a foreign dignitary's daughter in a beauty pageant competition. The movie quickly rose up the charts, thanks to the star-studded casts of Vice Ganda, Coco Martin, James Reid, Nadine Lustre and many more.

The movie enjoyed quite a success as it is still constantly ranking as one of the most watched movies, helping to push the gross earnings for films in the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival to officially reach the P1 billion mark as of 6th January, Wednesday. With Vice Ganda's steady dose of hilarious humor coupled with the comical antics of other casts, the movie surely was a fun treat to watch for people during the Christmas break holidays.

But despite the huge success of the film, Beauty and the Bestie will unfortunately not be shown in the Middle East for quite a few reasons. Here are some of them.
Many were left disappointed that they didn't get an opportunity to watch the movie, especially the fans of the film. While many people have raved about the movie as a whole, unfortunately the success of the Beauty and the Bestie won't make it to the Middle East. Movie reviewers felt that the movie focused too much on Vice Ganda's own brand of humor and comedy, in which they emphasized it as one of its hidden downfalls.

All in all, it was a hugely successful film that many people had fun watching. It's just unfortunate for the fans in the Middle East that they won't get an opportunity to watch the Beauty and the Bestie in all its comical and humorous glory. Still, its one of the most-watched movies despite the critical reviews, and we'll let you decide if you enjoyed watching the film!

Miss Colombia Expresses Her Thoughts After Mistakenly Being Crowned The Winner. Check It Out!

In one of the most shocking plot twists seen in recent memory, the Miss Universe 2015 pageant will certainly go down as one of the most memorable. But not as most people would have thought.

The world was watching with their eyes centered on host Steve Harvey as he steps up to announce the winner of the prestigious contest. For a brief moment, heartbeats raced fast as everyone held their breaths with excitement and anticipation.

The winner was Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo, and the crowd erupted with cheers as Miss Colombia was crowned and congratulated by the whole world. But the celebration was short-lived, and in a shocking turn of events, Steve Harvey once again walked to the stage and apologized for a very huge mistake that spun the heads of the entire world.

The first runner-up for the contest was actually Miss Colombia, and the real winner of the Miss Universe 2015 was Miss Philippines! Jaws dropped and minds were blown in a very surprising plot twist, as the mystified and puzzled Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach of the Philippines walked in front of the stage alongside Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo of Colombia. The crown was removed from Miss Colombia and was placed on Miss Philippines' head, indicating that she is the crowned winner of the Miss Universe 2015! The event drew controversy from all angles, and  people have spoken up about the glaring mistake that sent reverberating shockwaves throughout the entire world. Check this out!


It's likely that the account is fake, made by furious and enraged netizens that felt the heartbreaking pain and melancholy of Miss Colombia. A night of prestige, elegance and beauty turned into a dramatic spectacle for a moment, but at the end the whole issue was resolved, and Miss Colombia thanked her supporters for voting her and for being the first runner-up of the prestigious contest.
